[ Installation ]
1. Mount the "Photoshop_12_LS1.dmg"
2. Locate and click on the file "Install"
3. Select "Install this product as a trial" and click on next.
4. Now click on "Install" and wait for it to finish.
5. Quit Photoshop CS5 if it opens after launch.
6. Open the "Terminal" application and paste in the following:
1. Mount the "Photoshop_12_LS1.dmg"
2. Locate and click on the file "Install"
3. Select "Install this product as a trial" and click on next.
4. Now click on "Install" and wait for it to finish.
5. Quit Photoshop CS5 if it opens after launch.
6. Open the "Terminal" application and paste in the following:

sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts |
7. The host file should open in "TextEdit".
8. Paste in the following between 127.0.0.1 localhost and 255.255.255.255 broadcasthost:

9. Save and close.
10. Run the following in "Terminal" app to flush your cache:

11. Open "Photoshop CS5" and enter the serial number.
12. That's it. Enjoy!
the host file does not open 'Textedit'
ReplyDeleteYou have to manually open it in that, anon. Open textedit and then File > Open the host file. It's something a 4-year-old could have figured out.
